Mate installs Trumpf 2020 in our Research and Development centre.

Mate Precision Tooling has installed a Trumpf 2020 along side their existing Finn Power E5 and Euromac CX to develop some more new and exciting tooling that will increase the productivity of punching machines.

Patrick van deputte, Mate’s Western European Sales Manager commented. “ this will help us develop more of our replacement Trumpf product range. Leading to some great new tooling by the end of the year.”

Rollerball De Burring tool for Trumpf and Thick Turret machines.

Rollerball Deburring tool is designed to remove burrs from Punch parts before the material is removed from the machine, reducing costly secondary operations. The tool can be used on all materials and thickness up to 4.0mm

Mate Precision Tooling, was named "2009 Manufacturer of the Year—Mid-Sized Company,"
by the Manufacturer's Alliance, (a US based
Award board).

Mate Tooling Solutions were invited by the MTA (Manufacturing Technologies Association) to a reception in the Members Dining Room at the House Of Commons on Wednesday 12th November. The host was Stephen O'Brien MP who was joined by Ian Pearson MP, Economic and Business Minister as well as the MP for Northampton South, Brian Bingley. Director Craig Letty can be seen shaking hands with local MP Brian Bingley.

Ian Pearson spoke about the importance of the UK manufacturing sector, business enterprise and regulatory reform.

Mate Tooling Solutions, one of the U.K’s leading suppliers of Punch Press Tooling, Pressbrake Tooling & Laser Consumables are proud to report that they have succeeded in the first stage of their expansion plans by the completion of a move into their new building in Northampton. The new premises were officially opened on 23rd June 2008. Future tooling presentations and grinding demonstrations are planned, along with customer training courses. The new facility will allow us to improve our service to customers, with a greater increase in stock, and faster delivery times. Improved service is also possible due to the installation of a new “Direct Order Entry System” that is linked into our supplier’s production area.

The new building has been planned with a view to reducing energy costs, needed to compete within Britain’s “environmentally friendly” business ethos. We will be implementing a new “environmental procedure” covering everything from recycling to looking at ways in reducing our energy needs and carbon foot print.

Further business expansion is planned for 2009

They were runners up in the "Innovation Category" with the judges stating that the company has "a good approach to linking new technology and processes". The Directors, Craig Letty & Barry Webster were presented with a certificate to recognise their achievement by T.V presenter Eamonn Holmes at this years awards ceremony.

Mate Tooling Solutions has represented Ophir Optronics in the U.K for almost 2 years now.
In this time they have increased sales of Laser Lenses and Mirrors significantly. This success
was recognised and rewarded at Ophir’s recent International Sales Meeting held in Jerusalem.
